Karma The Boston Terrier Needs A Loving Home

Posted by on Nov 29, 2016 in Dogs In Need | 0 comments

Are you in or around Colorado Springs, CO and need some more love in your life? Look no further than Karma the Boston Terrier! This sweet girl was recently saved from a rough situation and is ready to find a loving forever home. Karma is currently with the National Mill Dog Rescue, and this is what we know about her so far. Hi there! National Mill Dog Rescue recently rescued me, here is what my dedicated care team already knows about me: I am friendly, playful and easy-going with other dogs, but I still need to be tested with different sized dogs and genders. I am looking for a home with a yard, where I can learn all about potty training and walk on a leash. Cautious but friendly around people, loud noises, and sudden movements can still frighten me. I may be shy, but I am sweet and just unsure about new things. Every day I am coming around and figuring out that I am safe. Lots of love in my forever home should make me blossom into the dog I am meant to be. Please check back soon to read my full biography! Before rescue, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning...

Posted by on Nov 13, 2016 in Videos | 0 comments

This is the first time we’ve ever seen a Boston Terrier do a walking handstand, something that very few humans can do! When we received this video, we probably watched it ten times over and over to make sure we were seeing what we were seeing.  This amazing video comes to us via YouTube user Banana Wisdom and features Penny the Boston Terrier doing something amazing! “Penny got to try on winter boots for the first time and this is how it went down. (sorry Penny! I will give you a giant cookie, I promise!)” Do you want your Boston Terrier to be able to do a walking handstand like this? Buy them a pair of boots, obviously! Enjoy and let us know what you think in the comments...

September 22nd Is #RememberTheRescue Day

Posted by on Sep 21, 2016 in News | 2 comments

Whenever I speak publicly about iBostonTerrier, people ask how many dogs we’ve saved. It’s in the thousands by now and growing daily. However, it’s hard not to think about the dogs we couldn’t save, the dogs that are still out there living through hell, and the dogs we have yet to meet. As I was speaking at an event back in June, I met Christina from the Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe, California. After hearing about #RememberTheRescue day, I...

Sully The Boston Terrier Can Finally Walk On Hardwood Floors

Posted by on Sep 14, 2016 in Photos | 0 comments

A while back, we met Dr. Julie Buzby – an amazing veterinarian and the creator of ToeGrips, non-slip nail grips that fit onto dogs’ toenails, adhere by friction, and create the GripZone—gripping the floor in a way a dog’s toenails cannot. We love the product because we have hardwood floors and Sophie and Baxter are constantly sliding across the floor. They are even great for senior dogs that are having trouble keeping their balance. Imagine our surprise the other day...
